The final postcard....

This is the last postcard. It is a rant and I signed off in disgust. I am wrestling with myself as there was so much in today's news that was worthy of a confined rant. (confined as limited to a postcard.) but I am going to wean myself from them and am going to find other ways to work for a better world. It is, you know, up to us! to all of you who followed me and shared the postcards. I humbly thank you. Perhaps we made a difference. I sincerely hope we did.
With warmth and love and hope, I sign off.... warmly, Dianne

I hope we can recover...

How have we come to a place where our President works only for the benefit of himself and his wealthy cronies? He has done nothing to benefit our country or our world. It will take years to untangle the web of greed and poor character. The office of president has been degraded and stained. I hope we can recover.

3rd to last postcard....

This news sent me over the top. It is just what our president wants... shallow recognition for misguided behavior from a like-minded person. Theoretically, it is not the worst thing he has done, but I responded with rage for the evil that has been done to the Palestinians.

I have reached my limit!

This morning I read in the paper about the Golan Heights Settlement being named for Trump and went over the edge. I carried anger with me all day and then wrote my last four postcards to the man who holds the office of president of our country. The postcards, though generally still civil are rants filled with rage.

Joy comes from the others in our lives...

I love this idea. Joy comes from our connections with others. We can change our lives and change the world by making connections. I love it!

It is up to us!

A stable future depends on all sides working together to make a safe place for all of us to live. Either we all work to make our country safe, or we will all live in a place of terror. It is up to us!

My assumption will educate my vote...

This is a case where innocence or guilt are assumed by careful observation. My assumption may not hold up in court, but it will certainly educate my vote.
