We seem to have lost the feeling of being a united nation. I plan to send a postcard each day to our new President sharing what drives me through my days, what I want for this country, and what I want our nation to stand for.

For profit prisons...
Once our prison system became a private operation, more prisoners were needed to make the business lucrative. The statistics are horrific. Make our prisons a place for growth and learning instead of punishment and recidivism will plummet. But that would make our for profit prisons not very profitable. Sent April 16, 2018
