JPay is just another way for private corporations to make money on the incarceration of American citizens. In order to continue making more and more money, more and more Americans must to be incarcerated. Many who are in our for-profit prisons are there because of petty crimes, because they are addicted and would do better in treatment, or because they have mental health issues that also need treatment.
