We have essentially been involved in wars around the globe, trying to destabilize and privatize public services. The capitalistic drive from within our government, favors corporations that want to expand their markets into the global community. Of course they do not want international interference in their money making plans.

I say "YES!" for the #MeToo movement. It must become the norm for our children to tell when something unjust happens to them. We must believe them and stand by them as they name their abusers. No one should have to carry the shame of their own abuse. The shame should fall on the abuser.

Getting wealthy from war...

How do we come to a place where wealthy, white, men decide that social security and medicare are entitlements that need to be ended? Every person who gets social security and medicare paid into the pot. Pay back what has been taken and strengthen the system so it is not used as a free loan source!

The most amazing thing about the Paris Accord was that 100% of all the nations on our planet signed on. Every single country on the planet, except America, will be a part of correcting and cleaning up what humans have done to dirty our nest. Have we lost our vision of who we are?

We have supported capitalistic, greedy dictators in countries south of us. The government for profit model leaves people without jobs, food, and hope. Safety is non-existent. Families come to our doorstep seeking safety and justice and we lock them up. If we do not stand for justice, we have lost our vision of who we are.

Selling women's reproductive rights!

This is feeling very personal to me. Using the Supreme Court to play partisan politics with women's reproductive rights and selling the seat on the Supreme Court to the highest bidder is what our Constitution hoped to avoid. I am so disappointed.

We will never forget, ...I promise!

One memory that comes to mind is the image of Senators crossing their arms and sealing their lips to keep President Obama from confirming a Supreme Court Justice. They looked like two-year-olds who didn't get a cookie. Now you are raving because Democrats won't help you confirm a Justice who refers to contraception as “abortion-inducing drugs". Women and their daughters and granddaughters will never forget that you put this man on the Supreme Court.
