The math is pretty easy... The more people who have money to spend, the more money they will spend, the more profits will be made. Of course, it is also true that the more people incarcerated, the more profits are made, and the more disruption in 3rd world countries, the more privatizing of public services, the more profits are made, and the more bombs that are dropped, the more profits are made. We need to vote for how we want the wealthy to get their wealth.
