We seem to have lost the feeling of being a united nation. I plan to send a postcard each day to our new President sharing what drives me through my days, what I want for this country, and what I want our nation to stand for.

Protect our voting rights....
Our voting system is a precious piece in the puzzle of our democracy. Citizens have the right to vote and help create the picture of our country. Putting arbitrary and frivolous restrictions and limits on who can vote is a first step to return us to the days when only white, wealthy men were allowed to vote. We've come too far to let this happen. Sent February 6, 2018
