We seem to have lost the feeling of being a united nation. I plan to send a postcard each day to our new President sharing what drives me through my days, what I want for this country, and what I want our nation to stand for.

How our government works....
Our government was designed to have three separate but equal parts, the judicial arm, the legislative arm, and the executive arm. They are to keep each other in check so no one arm has total control, but all three have to work together. I hope we do not lose this balance of power. Sent January 29, 2019
