We seem to have lost the feeling of being a united nation. I plan to send a postcard each day to our new President sharing what drives me through my days, what I want for this country, and what I want our nation to stand for.

Taxes are the price we pay...
I am not sure I am advocating higher taxes. However, the worst-case-scenario is lowering taxes and turning over public and citizen services to corporations that will just charge us more to cover their profits. I would much rather pay higher taxes and know that they would be used to benefit me. Isn't that the point? Sent October 25, 2017
