We seem to have lost the feeling of being a united nation. I plan to send a postcard each day to our new President sharing what drives me through my days, what I want for this country, and what I want our nation to stand for.

Assumptions make us all part of the problem...
Does this come as a surprise? Yesterday, I purposefully did not identify this man's skin color. We all make assumptions about those in prison. I was sure he had done something to get incarcerated. And, I bet you thought he was black. We are all part of this problem. We must open our minds. Or, justice will never be served. Sent December 8, 2017
